The trust has a broad outlook and experience of having setup and run a dental college. It aims at providing services to the society in educational, medical, employment, moral and cultural fields. PSM College of Dental Science and Research has been involved in the process of developing new knowledge skills and attitude for the budding Dental Surgeons. PSM College of Dental Sciences and Research is situated in the epicenter of picturesque Kerala in the land of Festivals. Trichur is famed and wide for its Pooram festival. Trichur with its rich history, cultural heritage and archeological wealth is the cultural capital of Kerala.

The festival of festivals with an unmatched pageantry of a hundred drums, dozens of caparisoned elephants and brilliant fireworks are so inseparably integrated that the extravaganza of Pooram, excites you in the same breath when you hear the name of Trichur.

From very early times Trichur has been a nucleus of learning. It was also considered a center for Sanskrit learning after the decline of Buddhism and Jainism.
